| Traces of the setting trench of the Spanish presidio stockade, and several postholes, were found in several sections of the site. The trench had been dug to about a meter in depth, creating a disturbance in the soil, and making it visible to archeologists more than 300 years later. Roughly 70 per cent of the presidio trench was found. |
