These two Paleoindian points date earlier than Angostura times. On the right is a Golondrina point, which dates to about 8,000 B.C. On the left is the distal section of a very thin, very well made parallel-sided lanceolate point that closely resembles the Midland type. This type co-occurs with Folsom points dating to about 10,000 B.C.
