Stepping Back in Time: The Case of the Ancient Sandals


That's not to say that the sandals weren't worn out and very fragile when the archeologists discovered them. After all, they'd still been worn several thousand years ago — and prehistoric sandals took a lot of wear and tear! People walked everywhere they went, and often they had to walk very far over rough land. The shoes were strong and well made, but they still wore out quickly.
