Guadalupe Tools: Crude, heavy bifaces, often triangular in cross section, with a semi-circular, concave-surfaced bit at one end; around the bit edge, blade-like flake scars are often seen. Some think these are adzes; much functional study is needed. These are found predominately in Early Archaic sites along the San Antonio-Guadalupe River drainage and are especially common in Victoria and Goliad Counties.
