La Junta phase arrow points suggest a strong relationship with hunter-gatherers in the surrounding region. The most common styles are what Kelley called Piedras Triple Notched (right), Perdiz Stemmed (left), and Fresno Triangular (center), all types commonly found at hunter-gatherer sites across the Big Bend. Today these point types are known as Toyah, Perdiz, and Fresno. Examples from the Millington site, photo by Andy Cloud, CBBS.
