A variety of projectile points from the Midland site, which became the type site for the Midland point. The first Midland point found at the site was picked up by avocational archeologist and pipe welder Keith Glasscock—it is second from the right on the bottom row. This thin lanceolate point resembles the Folsom point with its excellent chipping, size and shape but differ by the lack of flutes, which are characteristic of Folsom points (for example, see top left).
