Double-basin milling stone fragment from Ingleside Cove (41SP120) dating to either the Late Archaic or Late Prehistoric. Coastal natives used such grinding slabs made of fine-grained sandstone to grind seeds and nuts. Relatively large grinding stone tools and fragments are very rare, while small fragments are more common.
